I actually liked it more than I thought I would. Phillip and Sybill weren't exactly the warmest of characters, but of course Roberts draws them out a little and you fall for them. At first I thought it wasn't going to work, why would Phillip ever trust Sybill after meeting him under false pretenses, but she redeems herself in the end.
Not my favorite of the Chesapeake Bay Saga but a good story nonetheless!
