It's a true three-star for me - I liked it. I'm no athlete - and this book may explain why. I see my own attitude towards physical activity described here, to my embarrassment. I don't participate in competitive sport because of the negative self-talk and frustration it inspires, yet I enjoy playing music because it employs the non-"thinking" side of my brain, which is referred to in the book as Self 2. I could definitely use more Self 2-oriented activities in my life.

This book is about tennis, but not only about tennis. It is about learning.
