Ok... my girlies!! I seriously think in order to read this one you should at least read 4 of Cole's books to get the jist of this... or AT LEAST the first one :) I think I'd be a tad bit confused if this was the first book I had read.
This book totally fills in the blanks of Myst the Valkyrie warrior and Nikolia the vampire warlord.
If you've read Hunger Like No Other (the ultimate nom in satisfaction) then you would have met this couple and perhaps even scratched your head just a tad bit. I mean... where did they come from? And why are they so horny? This book explains all that ... but Like I said... this probably isn't the first book you should read if starting the series. The LORE isn't explained that well, but if you read a couple books I guarantee you'll easily grasp what is going on :)

Great review! I saw a lot of her books at the used book store today, but I restrained myself. Like the youtube. I can so see why they chose Kristen Stewart to be Joan Jett in that movie. They do look alike.

Lachlan, oh yeah, especially the first shower scene! I think I would have been the Valkyrie named "Hore" (Get it, like "Myst" to "Mist"). Ha Ha I crack myself up!!! Any hoo...in the shower scene when he said "touch it" I would have been like "sure". "You are my mate and I will screw you into submission". And "Hore" (being me) would have been like "if you think you can but you got to chase me over the beds in the room because I know how you Lykae like "the chase". Then badaa badaa bam - 9 months later - I would be spitting out Lykae/vampire/Valkyrie pups!!! :)

Greta is "Sadie" the Sadistic Sinstress - her talent is letting men tie her up in a single bound. And to really know "Sadie" you will have to know she is into Lykae preferably. I hear there is a rumor that she is trying to steal Lachlan from Emma.
