This is an awesome book. It's a nice hybrid of vampire, magic, and time-travel, and it thankfully doesn't fall victim to many of the clichés of the genre. Our protagonist is Cassie, a clairvoyant young woman who's on the run from her vampire gangster master. Yes, you read that right. Vampire gangster. She ends up falling into something that's a lot bigger than she expected and learns that she is being saddled with the powers of the Pythia, a powerful clairvoyant who can shift through time and space. Unfortunately, lots of people want to get their hands on her, and Cassie is forced to think--and fight--her way out of some seriously stick situations.
