I'm not giving 5 stars for the mystery because, as other reviewers said, it's pretty obvious who's the killer. What I really enjoyed was Roarke and Eve together, because there wasn't the usual tension of the previous books, they were more relaxed and Eve was less broody. Peabody is a great character and she's a great match for Eve on the field. I'm getting tired of Mavis, but Feneey and Roarke working together were priceless.

Emanuela ~plastic duck~ There are so many books! I'm sorry my review isn't extensive, but the book's been reviewed a hundred times and I just sketched my thoughts. I simply adore Roarke :)

MsMiz (Tina) These are wonderful - Roarke and Eve are 1 of my top 5 favorite book couples. I have read all of them and while the last 2 were a bit repetitive in the crime, the major theme is love. It is so fun to watch them together.

Keep reading and enjoy.

Emanuela ~plastic duck~ I have never read Nora Roberts' books, even if I know she's very popular. Is she that different from her JD Robb style?

And I agree, Roarke and Eve are great together!
