Twilight (Warriors: The New Prophecy, #5)

Well, it's a long story why I read this #5 book of a kid's series that I have not read any of before, involving my boss and her son. My comments on it: An okay kid's book, but not great. This series is populated with feral cats, yes HOUSEcats, living in the wild in clans/tribes. A bit heavy with moralizing such as characters' immature thinking followed by immature actions/choices, followed by foreseeable (to adults) consequences. Fun aspects include the illustrations of cat names, communications, body language, and the ways the author translates cat talk into English. For example, "Leafpool was embarrassed to be praised in front of every cat." I think of these as kind of a lower level intro to better books such as Black Beauty, Call of the Wild, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. (or is it NIHM?) Anyway, too dull for adults, but if kids like it, nothing objectionable here.
