Whew. Well, that nice cliff-hanger is wrapped up, and there is still left-over interest for the next book, so I have to admit myself to be well-pleased. Also apparently well hyphenated.

I am really liking the developing view that we're getting of this alternative history; the books also have a generous helping of humor, even when the story is at a grim point. Instead of borrowing these books from my sister as I have been doing, I believe I shall have to acquiesce and buy them. It is becoming necessary simply because I have a growing urge to re-read the first book now that I've caught up on the newer two.

Definitely, definitely earning a place of honor on my bookshelf.
