As good as book one, Ring, was, I has anxious to read this one. It turned everything you thought you knew from book one and turned it on it's head. It was a little heavy on the genetics, but it kept with the viral theme of the first book, but with a twist. And it had a more challenging ending. The first book gave the protagonist the dilema of who would you let die to save someone you love. This book goes a step farther and asks how many people would you let die to bring someone you love back from the dead.
