really liked it
bookshelves: thriller-adult

Another Jayne Ann Krentz suspense page-turner.

Now a reporter Irene Stenson left her Northern California home when she returned home one night to find her parents murdered. Was it really a murder/suicide as ruled.
She had been friends for one summer with wealthy Pamela Webb. Years later she receives a cryptic email from Pamela. they had not seen each other since teen agers but Irene is drawn back to her old home.
There has to be a romantic interst--it is Luke Danner who is an "innkeeper" for cabins on the lakr.

A fast, good read.
