This boook by John Coy is awsome, it has sports action, drama,and comedy. My favorite charcter is Liam. Liam is a freshman who gets to play for the JV basketball team. He has a girlfriend who is in Paris. I like this boobk becausee it like our school people talk all about basketball, and girlfriend. Well in this book Liam first game isnt as goood as he though it would. He misses 2 passes and freethrows. Not to metion the best player quits at first Darius is the player who quits. They lose thier first game by 2 points. After the game Laim gets to practice with the girls team. They play kign of the court at recces. Which I think would be a great game to play at bascetball practice. Liam would always get 2nd or 3rd he won twice. He never braged like other kids did. His team win the next game a awesome win a 3 pointer at the buzzer. At the next practice they all practice jump shots because they stink they went 12-38 a low number . Every night Laim will call Maxine his girlfriend. Laim has a hard tome at practice because let just say he is not the fastest kid on the team Towards the middle of tthe season Dauris comes back and leads them to playoff.
