MAX by James Patterson is a book that has to do with six unnatural kids and one dog. Their names are Max, Iggy, Fang, Nudge, Gasman, Angel, and Total. The reason why these kids and dog are unique is because they have avian or bird DNA. They have this DNA in their bodies because these evil scientists have gotten hold of kids whose parents did not want them. Max is the leader of the flock and the only reason why is because she can take the heat better than the rest. Iggy is blind because the scientists tried to give him the best night vision possible but that turned out to be it for his eyesight but he can feel colors and i very stealthy, he also knows how to make bombs. Fang is the quiet one who likes to wear black for his everyday clothing. Nudge is the nonstop talker she has to constantly talk or else she just doesn't sound like herself. Gasman is eight years old but he can make a bomb out literally anything. Well if you haven't already figures out what his name means then you just might as well read the book, but his name means the GASMAN which is pretty self-explanatory. Angel is a little girl who Max just absolutely loves to death because she is only the cutest little girl aver. Max thinks of them all as one big family even though the only ones that are one hundred percent related are Gazzy and Angel. Jeb Batchelder is the man who acted like a father toward them because they don't have parents except for Max. Max's mom is a veterinarian and her name is Valencia Martinez and whenever Max gets hurt her mom can help her get better. Later in the book Max's mom gets kidnapped by an Asian man named Mr. Chu now Mr. Chu is a man who works with big big businesses and is trying to get Max to quit working for them and he said that he would do whatever it takes to do so. Also later in the book Angel and Max go under water because that is where Mr. Chu is keeping her. While they are under water Max and Angel find these strange creatures that are eel like but they have pimples that have acid in them. These eel like things help Max and Angel get into the dome/submarine like thing just to get Max's mom. Eventually they do rescue her mom and then they go somewhere and after that Max and Fang start dating. I also forgot that in the book when they are at a day and night school Fang and Max go out for a while and well they end up getting lip locked with each other go back to their dorm and battle these human robot like things and they all live to go on another day without fear.
