I love this book! its a non fiction acount of his experience in fallujah. The author of this novel served with lima 3/1 and some time with 3/2.

I personally got a lot out of reading this book. It was incredibly exciting. i loved every page of this action packed story. It really does make you apprciate the people that serve our countyr everyday laying there life one the line time and time again.

I think the biggest thing i got out of reading this book is the understanding of the brotherhood that the people serving our country have. Reading sections in this book hearing about the times one soldier would take a hit from shrap metal trying to cover his partner. Or busting through a door taking shot after shot to the chest and in the flak jacket.

Although i ought to worn you this book isn't for the weary and it does have a little bit of profanity. But then again it is a book about a bunch of Jarheads laugh out loud. I think the author did a perfect job of describing war over in fallujah in this stroy.
