I loved this book written by a famous journalist for MSNBC. It's the TRUE story of her life growing up in a dysfunctional family, many times homeless, and without food. How she made it to the top in spite of her surroundings!

Vonney Young Loved "The Glass Castle". I always list is as one of my favorite memoirs, and I so admire Jeannette Wall for her gut-wrenching honesty and bravery in telling her story without whining or any self-pity. MSNBC is the only tv I watch aside from The Weather Channel. Must have not realized who I was watching.

Lazliz Siler Me too, I've been looking for her. You couldn't help but grow fond of that family even as screwed up as they were.
