Countdown is a fun read. It's part of a series, and even though I have not read the ones that come before, I had no problem getting into this book. I had a little trouble with the dialogue at first, because I found it a bit stiff. After a while though I was able to let that go. The character's were strong and the mystery adventure plot engaging.
