Rand al' Thor, known as the Coramoor, Car'a'carn, and Dragon reborn; continues the growth of the black tower, and it's rising numbers of asha'man, while planning a way to capture Illian. Elayne, Aviendha, Nynaeve, and Mat search Ebou Dar for the legendary Bowl of the Winds. Egwene gathers an army with the help of the mini white tower aka the rebels, for the purpose of assulting the real white tower in Tar Valon. Perrin Goldeneyes continues moving his army towards Masema, in the hopes of stopping the thousands of brigands from burning farms and towns. Moghedien tried to assasinate Nynaeve, but the balefire missed and just sank the boat. Lan saved Nynaeve,and as a result, the two of them got married that evening. Thanks to Mat's taveren luck, Elayne is able to locate the Bowl of the Winds, but there was a large fight involving a gholam. Rand finally executes his plan and teleports a large army into the center of the city, but Sammael, his arch nemesis, ran away. Rand chases, and they end up having a huge magical battle in a haunted city...Shadar Logoth. Rand wins in the end, kills Sammael, and returns to Illian to claim the CROWN OF SWORDS.
