Aggie's husband is the minister of a church in a small Ohio town. When a party for a retired minister, Win, ends with a sudden death, Win's wife Hildy is the main suspect for the police. If Aggie is sure of anything, it's Hildy's innocence--the other woman is bossy and exasperating, but simply couldn't kill anyone. But did anyone have it in for the victim? Despite pleas from her husband and the police to avoid getting herself into trouble (again!), Aggie just has to satisfy her curiosity, help Hildy, and--maybe--find a murderer. A delightful series.
