I greatly enjoyed this slight English mystery (I say slight because it's not a full-blown mystery in the most common of terms, as in there was no murderer/murderee but there was a missing person). I was really engaged throughout and I will definitely be reading more by this author. I do have to say, however, that there were some elements that were just way too convenient, like when the main character just happened to be at a bookstore and there just happened to be something that she just happened upon that just happened to be relevant to the person she was researching. A little too coincidental in places, but still a good read.
