I've gushed about Audrey Niffenegger's artwork in previous reviews, but this was the best yet. The faces of the characters tell so much about them -- you feel like you know them -- and you want to know more. The drawings and colors are soft and appealing, and the way the images flow from panel to panel are unique. They fit together like a puzzle.

This is the story of a young woman who finds a bookmobile one night and discovers that all of the books are ones she's read during her life. When the librarian boots her out, she spends years and years trying to find the bookmobile again. During her life, she becomes a voracious reader and reads everything she can get a hold of -- and hopes that she will be able to become a librarian in the bookmobile someday.
