The book covers C.S. Lewis' childhood, experiences at school, and his youth. I was surprised that only the very ending of the book concerns his conversion to belief in God. It was somewhat interesting to read about his life, and his background reading the classics. His writing can be obscure to someone like me who is not versed in the classics nor in philosophy. But I'm glad I read it simply for the insight into the author as a person, and how he came around to believing in God after being an atheist.
