Four Past Midnight
by Stephen King
by Stephen King
I haven't read this for years, but the stories are written to stick with you. I remember "Langoliers" the best, still fascinated by the concept of a "rip in time" and people actually passing through that. But don't let the Langoliers catch up with you!
None of these are classic Stephen King in that they are gory/violent/horror (which I don't believe he should be classified as anyway), but more..."What if?" Creepy, suspenseful, that's Mr. King. Library policeman?! Scary Doberman that attacks through an old camera?! A rip in time that can humans pass through and have to literally race against time to get back through the rip into the present...Stephen King is the master of the "what if"...and these are just four of his best short stories.
