** spoiler alert ** An interesting premise: "Something" happens that renders high-energy reactions (electricity, gasoline, gunpowder) invalid. It has a good start, with people attempting to respond to the apocalyptic changes. However it quickly devolves into a contrived exercise. There are just too many overly convenient coincidences. When the historical-reenactor fighter and the wiccan herbalist meet up with the living-history-museum farmer and they just happen to stumble across an expert bowyer/fletcher, the story lost all credibility with me.
