it was amazing
Recommended for: high school students and their parents

This book surprised me because it was FUN to read. Those of you preparing for college (and your parents) will enjoy reading this book. The chapters are short and the language is clear. The advice grows out of common sense, experience, and the author's memorable stories. I read this while I was in the midst of attending law school and I found this book worthwhile and sensible.

The good: Packed full of practical knowledge; you don't need to read it cover-to-cover so you can use it to answer your specific questions; the book covers a broad range of topics.

The bad: This book will not make you cool and popular but it will help you avoid jail, sidestep financial ruin, make good decisions, and enable you to get the most of your college experience.
