it was amazing
Read in April, 2010

I read this for a sociology course on race and ethnic relations, and it blew me away. Tim Wise was able to get his point clearly across--with no complicated abstract theories or conceptualizations--on how white privilege impacts American society. This reads more like a story than a textbook, which I think why I was able to get into it. It deals with topics such as guilt, how to combat racism, and what we can expect in the future. Definitely would recommend for anyone who is interested in racial studies; I sold all my other books back except for this one.
