bookshelves: food
Read in January, 2007

Great chronicle of the major personalities behind the trend in the past 40 years of the explosion of quality cooking in America. Now we almost take it for granted that we have such a variety of foods available, even our mainstream supermarkets. People like Julia Child, Alice Waters, and others have really shaped the culture.
