I couldn't get into this book at all. The author is one I'd heard of, but it turns out that this is one of her much older novels being reissued, or something along those lines. It seemed like a fairly regular romance, which I wasn't really in the mood for at the time. The start of the book is very slow and full of a lot of jargon about the main character's financial situation and just didn't grab me, sadly. Not one I'll be attempting again any time soon. 4/10
