The Essential 55: An Award Winning Educator's Rules for Discovering the Successful Student in Every Child

I loved all of the 55 ideas to use/teach/introduce to students. What I don't like is that the awesome teacher who figured all of this out in just a few years of teaching, isn't teaching anymore. I know the ideas are great, but prove it by implementing them longer, have these students come back after they graduate, go to college and then say, "Hey, you taught me more about manners than anything." or "I never ate a Dorito without thinking about your advice." I think the book's message would have meant more coming from a veteran teacher, than who many of us in teaching would consider as a novice.
Again, great book, great ideas, I share them with my students.
