Wow...I can't believe this book got published. Maybe the publishers only read the first third of the book, because it fooled me too. It fooled me into thinking that this was an awesome, nerdy book, including a unique take on vampires. But about halfway through, you start to wonder..."Where the hell is this going? What happened to the plot?" And suddenly there are a ton of other half-realized plot threads littering the book, muddling up the main plot, whatever that is. The threads never resolve, you never find out what happens to most of the characters, and the ending is the most half-assed ending I've ever read. It was like when I was writing a novel for NaNoWriMo, and my heart wasn't really in it and I hadn't thought it all out, and I was basically just spewing out random, disconnected words during the last few days of November. Yeah, like that. This book (Fat Vampire, not my novel) had so much potential, too. Very disappointing, and a waste of time.
