it was amazing
bookshelves: 2010, british, humor, fantasy, crime-mystery, pratchett
Read from October 05 to 11, 2010

One of the best Discworld novels so far. I've always had a thing for dragons, and I think Pratchett did them justice. I've got to stop finishing books late at night; makes it hard to write decent reviews... But it is also a testament to the quality of the read that I've used up precious time meant for sleeping. Gonna be tired at work tomorrow...

10/07/2010 ""Now I know what you're thinking," Vimes went on, softly. "You're wondering, after all this excitement, has it got enough flame left? And, y'know, I ain't so sure myself ..." He leaned forward, sighting between the dragon's ears, and his voice buzzed like a knife blade: "What you've got to ask yourself is: Am I feeling lucky?" They swayed backwards as he advanced. "Well?" he said. "Are you feeling lucky?""
