Overall I liked this book, especially the ending. However, it was tough to keep reading because it often ground along. Not as good as the first two which set the pace for an excellent allegory. There were high points, and I enjoyed the ending, but the characters were not explored as fully. Not only that, but they frequently contradicted themselves. Two especially seemed to be in the story strictly to ram home a point.

This book had much more of a preachy tone, bullying the reader with sermonizing instead of leading them down a path of discovery.
