really liked it
bookshelves: comics, x-men, marvel

I liked it. The story was fast-paced and pretty cool. As a stand alone it suffers from the same problem as House of M, that is, you really have to follow the on-going story lines to understand everything/know all of the characters. It did include a lot of classic characters though (Cable, Forge, Gambit) so that was cool. I really didn't like the art in the issues of the New X-Men in this collection. It looks too much like Ben 10 Alien Force or other (poorly drawn) cartoons with distorted body proportions and a vaguely American-copying-Anime look. The art was awesome in the other issues, though.
