This is such an inspiring book. It is humbling to learn how this man of such simple and meager means is making such an impact in the world. In today's political climate of bomb first and ask questions later, it is inspiring to see an American taking the time to understand and know the people of these regions and taking real and meaningful action. The impact that his efforts have had on the people of these regions is incredible, I was especially touched by the story of Jahan. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning more about the people of rural Pakistan and Afghanistan.
