it was amazing
bookshelves: history, memoirs-and-biographies, non-fiction, places-in-the-world

This book has several themes that interest me: a life story, a revolution, some history, political systems, oppression, people making simple life choices and ending up somewhere unexpected. It's practically written for me!

Jon Lee Anderson's writing is supreme, even some of the very controversial history was written succesfully with the focus on individual people. I felt I got a very complete picture of Che as a person, not merely as a political figure.

The book also included some very funny bits, mainly things that can happen when you get in the middle of a revolution and have a big mouth. Che was a character! I can't help but love him.
