Got tripped up abt 50 pages in by an explanation that one of the characters was a doctor AFTER that fact had been firmly established. I did not need to be told the guy was a doctor again and for some reason this really bothered me. Editing mishap? Excuse to stop reading because other unexplained things were bothering me? oh well, i put this down and have yet to return to it. Will gve to my father to read next,

My father enjoyed it! Said it was both compelling and enthralling. Something about 'dire future possibilities'. Three stars from him.

Nicole Bonia I started reading this one and was into it for a bit but put it down and have not picked it up again. I think it was around the 50 page mark. I had just looked at it today and thought about finishing it up. This is a follow up novel so I wonder if the explanation was to give some backstory from the first novel.
