OIY OIY OIY! I can't get over how amazing this book was. I had read another Others novel before and loved it! (Regina's) This one was different, and it had been a while since I read the last one. Completely worth the read. I slammed through it in about a day and a half. Not too too bad. I cannot wait! to get my hands on every single other Others book in this series, and then maybe some of Christine's others too. Christine Warren's writing is amazing, and the intrigue and characters in her books are heart-stopping sometimes, damn near perfect all of the other times. While this book was graphic and sad in parts, there was also a great sense of love and bonding between the characters (every time I read the word Mate I sigh :) ) , and terrific adventure and humor. I fell in love with the new characters and was very glad to see some of the older ones. I loved Squick, Rule, Tess, Missy, Graham, Walker, Raef,... AND EVERYONE ELSE!, I loved all of the testosterone, the magic and beauty, the passion and the danger. Everything tied together seamlessly and I was thrilled. I'm on my way to go round up more of the series right now! HIGHLY recommended.
