really liked it

Jeffrey Lionel Magee was born a normal kid and happily lived so until he lost his parents. Though an aunt and uncle took him in, he no longer had a "home". So he ran. Running gave him a purpose and eventually a reputation. When Jeffrey comes to Two Mills he finds what he has been looking for - friends and a home - but those things are threatened by racism, a concept he doesn't understand. In living his unique life, Jeffrey earns the nickname Maniac, comes to know both the East End and the West End, and learns a whole lot about love, faith, loyalty, family, friendship and standing up for what you believe is right.
