This was a book that I could not put down . A historical fiction set in the 1700-1800s , in VA, on a tobacco growing plantation.
I actually lived in VA for 2 years and was invited and stayed in the original Renyolds Homestead . (Tobacco plantation / later family interests cigarettes and aluminum) The 4 poster bed I slept in was then over 200 years old, and hand hewn by Renyolds slaves.
Not only was this historical fiction , informative and engaging and believable ... it also told about indentured servants.... many brought to USA from Ireland. Definately 5 star book for me!
