Terrible!!! As a literature buff, I thought that I would at least mildy enjoy this one, although stories of survival aren't typically my cup of tea. However, I did not enjoy Robinson Crusoe one bit. It inspired me to want to watch "Castaway" and some "Gilligan's Island" reruns...that's about it.

As the first English novelist, I have to cut Daniel Defoe some slack. I mean, the guy didn't even know to divide the thing into chapters. But this was bad. Real bad. No character development. No symbolism.

Boooring. I would not recommend it.
