I can't really add much to what my friend Nat wrote.

With the Tiffany Aching series and 'Nation' Pratchett has moved beyond wordplay and slapstick (although plenty of that still appears, and my one quibble with this book is that, by now, I could have done without the footnotes) and into a heart-warming, thought-provoking moral philosophy.

I hope a whole generation of children are growing up with Tiffany, and more will continue to do so. It could only make the world a better place.
