This was a good solid mystery, hence the 3 star rating. (Darn, I coudn't decide between 3 and 4 stars. I think I've finally settled on 3.) It was a decent mystery, but not stellar. I definitely could feel the cold Swedish winter throughout the book.

I liked it well enough to start reading the second stranslated book in the series. I wish all the books in the series were translated into English. This title falls somewhere in the middle of the series, but it't the first book translated into English. I can pick up the broad storylines of Anne Lindell and the rest of the police officer characters in the previous books. I just like starting a series at the beginning so I can see the progression of the main characters, etc.
