Read from October 02 to 08, 2010

This book provides very different dynamics. All the characters are vastly different but they are all brought together by one single disaster. Its very realistic, an earthquake in San Francisco, of course. Some characters are people we can relate to, while others are ones most of us only see on tv. But what makes it interesting is watchiung as events unfold. In one couples lives who begin to fall apart, and two couples romances bloom. Adds both positive and negative sides to the story. But it all leads to seeing people for who they really are.

Scenes are not as well described in this book. The pictures you see are not extremely detailed. But the emotions are so well written you can feel them. The things these characters feel are very well portrayed as some characters evolve, some come to terms with things, and others stay the same. Which keeps this story and its events alive and interesting.
