I first heard of this book in the movie You've Got Mail, when Meg Ryan's character recommends it to a mother looking for "the shoes books" for her daughter. I love good children's literature, so I was interested in reading it if I ever found it. When I noticed it in my school's library last week, I was excited to read it. It's a nice story about three orphans raised as sisters, who have big dreams of what they will be when they grow up: an actress, a pilot, and a ballerina. It was fun to read about their pursuit of their goals.
