** spoiler alert ** After reading this book, I've decided that Huck Finn is officially one of my favorite protagonists. I love reading about how he got into trouble and then how he made up lies to get himself out of trouble. Plus, he takes into perspective a lot of thing I never even bother to think about in my life. At the beginning of the story, I actually didn't really like him because I thought he was a rude and ill-mannered child. But as the story progressed, I began to see that he actually did have feelings for Jim and together, they tried to get rid of the king and duke.
This only thing that people might have trouble reading through is the southern slang that Jim uses. A lot of our commonly known words are replaced with words that focus more on the pronunciation of the word. In this case, I would highly suggest readers to either read it out loud or listen to an audio book.
