Heart of the Sea (Gallaghers of Ardmore / Irish Trilogy, #3)

It would have been a 4.5 had it not been such a quick ending for Darcy and Trevor. I found this story as the biggest surprise. I wasn't as attached to either Darcy or Trevor as individuals, but as a couple I realized I had more in common with them than I thought. Their need to stay on top of the game. To be in control. To leave the other person needingwantingwondering.
Another unique reason why I loved this book was because of the way it was written. There was a different sort of muse that struck Ms. Roberts I think because there were so many beautiful lines and descriptions and emotional explanations. Its poetry caught my eye so many times. I absolutely loved it.
All in all, it was a very charming series which is why it would have been nice to see beyond the fairytale ending and the sudden happily ever after that these Darcy, Trevor and the rest of the characters strived for.
