I had a lot of fun reading Ice Hunt. I didn't notice the flaws that some people have reported; for example the football reference wasn't a metaphor, it was a code.

There was considerable discussion regarding unethical research with human subjects in recent history.

There was romance. There was suffering. There was personal growth.

All the action took place in the Alaskan wilderness or the Norther polar ice cap.

I had a little constant deja vu during reading; I'm hoping my new system of recording what I've read and when will help me avoid that in the future.

The cover on first glance looks a bit silly, but in the context of the novel it makes sense.
