Gosh, I would like to pan this book. The dialog is poor at times, and the premise of multiple serial killers seems ridiculous to me. Fortunately, I'm no expert on serial killers, but I think of them as men who are loners. I found it also ridiculous that Angela's husband beat her (at least noticeably) when she works with Patrick, his best friend. You definitely understand that Patrick would kill for her.

I cannot overlook that the author can write suspense and action better than most authors ... it's gripping at times, but I would have liked more of those times. The author also writes a couple of sex scenes that are hot, and that is tough to write because most authors cannot.

Overall, I cared about the two main characters and their relationship. In summary, I liked this book.

I would like to give this book 3.5 stars. I am forced to choose between 3 and 4, and I chose 4.
