it was amazing
bookshelves: urban-fantasy, bon-temps
Read from October 03 to 05, 2010

Amazed at how fast I finished it, but I had a hard time putting the book down. That's how you know a book is good, plain and simple. I still love Charlaine Harris's style, which manages to barely touch on all the cheesy romantic stuff without dwelling long enough on it to make me feel ill. Sookie is turning into a southern belle Buffy, and I love that she is able to get away from Bill and determined now to stay that way. It was also pretty easy for me to skip the second book for now and read this one without getting lost. I'm addicted to these books.

43.0% "Harris's characters continue to be likable and believable. I had to skip Living Dead in Dallas for now, but I got the gist of it enough not to be too confused by the third book. I'm getting through these really fast. Started reading last night and I'm on chapter 6 already."
