This book is great example of an amazing book with very few words to tell the story. The author's introduction tells a lot as he talks about when his mom sent him a book he had made when he was young that was similar to this story. I find the illustrations hilarious in this story as they can tell a million things without saying, or in this case, writing a word. This book inspires me to think of all those things my mother said to me when I was younger and how I probably could write a story related to that as well. At this moment this book reminds me of my nephew Luke who is a lot like David. He likes to try things out, but usually destruction always follows!

Nancy I agree! I loved this book and all the other No! David books. I have read it to preschoolers who love it too and love to yell out NO DAVID! and tell what he shouldn't be doing. Every mom and child can relate to David's antics. The double page spreads are hilarious. The ending says it all.
