Moving Pictures (Discworld, #10)
by Terry Pratchett
by Terry Pratchett
** spoiler alert **
While still a glorious Pratchett book, I found this one at the bottom of my list when it comes to favorite discworld stories. True, it did have the first appearances of such greats as Mustrum Ridcully and Gaspode, as well as excellent supporting players such as Detritus and Dibbler. But I found the story difficult to pick up at the start, which as we all know is not the way discworld books typically go. Usually its laughs from the get go, and non stop shenanagins all the way through. This one had some of that, as well as some classic references in typical Pratchett style, but it just wasn't the best of the lot. Good but not great. Sir Terry Pratchett is still the man, and discworld is hilarious.
