For the first 10 pages the 1st person plural narrative voice is fun, new and funny. Then it got old, then it became unbearable. Perhaps it was unbearable because the story never coalesced around a plot. I read 90 pages before fleeing that horrible workplace with people I'd hate to have to work with. I'll try Ferris's other book, because I thought he had some interesting ideas and some excellent writing.
