The Silver Swan (Quirke, #2)

I know some have said they liked this book less well than the first in the series, but I rather enjoyed it more if anything. There weren't so many "big issues"—it was a simple case of old-fashioned murder most foul. The coincidences might seem somewhat forced to those unfamiliar with the geography of Quirke's Dublin, but save for the disposition of the body, all the action happens within a few-mile radius of the Loop-line Bridge, much of it even closer, between Beggar's Bush and Harcourt Street Terminal. A real "page turner"; I enjoyed it very much.
